Becca creates colorful, abstracted compositions influenced by the patterns in nature and the world around us - those that are hidden by the mundane objects we see at first glance. She takes the beauty that she perceives and transforms it into tangible works of art that others can see and appreciate.
She loves the smell of wet paint and exploring new techniques and media. She is learning, always learning - and especially enjoys being in the company of other artists while she learns! Community is key when it comes to art.
Becca is a Baltimore, Maryland based painter, photographer and creator. She attended the Maryland Institute College of Art from 2004-2008, graduating with a BFA in Illustration and a minor in Art History. Since then, she has taken on various jobs including toy designer, children’s book illustrator, and high end photography editor. Through all this, she continues to draw and paint in her “free time”. She lives with her husband, Andy, and their feline children. The support of her family means the world to her.

How much time is required?
Each video tutorial is between 15 to 30 minutes long so they are perfect to watch at any time during the day to get a quick lesson completed. However as the goal is to be as creative as possible, you’ll be wanting hours in your studio by the end of this!

I already bought another one of your online courses. How is this different?
Each course from Kellee Wynne Studios has its own curriculum with different objectives. This course is specifically designed to teach color theory through the experience of mixing color palettes and using the mixed paint in new and playful art journal exercises. Color mixing is the foundation of almost all of Kellee’s courses, but each time it’s presented in a new way with new tutorials that will shed more light on the subject as well as mixed media and acrylic painting techniques.

I don’t have many art supplies. Can I still do these lessons?
Absolutely! While Kellee always has her favorite supplies, we want you to be open and adaptable and use what you have. We will always provide alternative and affordable solutions. A proper list with links will be provided as soon as you register for the course.
Having said that, it is advised to have 4 tubes of heavy body acrylic paint to practice color mixing: Primary Magenta, Primary Yellow, Primary Cyan and Titanium White. Kellee prefers Golden Paints, but you can adapt to whatever brand fits your budget.
Here are most of the supplies that will be used in this art course: Acrylic Paint, Brushes, a palette knife, a palette, small square canvases, large canvas or paper, fluid medium like GAC 100 by Golden Paints.
